Last night was the first of our 3 dinner and show events at the Warrawee Bowling Club in support of Rotary… and what a hoot!

Without the cast knowing, the audience prepared nice little surprise to keep our boys on their toes. As the first episode for the night (Lurgi Strikes Britain) was getting underway, Rob Queree who plays Spike Milligan in The Goon Show LIVE! delivered Moriarty’s line;

“And now, my friend, to business. My name is Count Moriarty. Have you ever heard of Lurgi?”

Just as the word “Lurgi” left his lips, the audience all donned surgical masks as protection against that dreadful disease.

It was very funny; the prank caught our cast out and momentarily flummoxed Simon (Neddy Seagoon) Lenthen, who almost forgot his lines… pretty clever really when he’s holding the script! He found his voice very quickly though, and along with the rest of the cast they proceeded to tell the tale of that dreaded Lurgi.

More photos are on the way… in the meantime there are only two more Sydney shows to go, so book here.
