It’s Feb 1st… , March on and only 28 days left!
Here we are, already stumbling into February… owww!
While we’re still not sure how we ended up here, one thing we do know is that 2014 is an exciting year for Bluebottle, Henry and Min, Gytpype-Thynne, the famous Eccles and all the rest of that roguish gang.
We are celebrating a successful 2013 by inflicting all those loveable The Goon Show characters on the unsuspecting (we suspect they probably suspect) public AGAIN!
In March, we are presenting our inaugural Sydney show, on the leafy north shore in support of the works of The Rotary Club of Wahroonga. A percentage of the box-office proceeds will be directed to youth projects in the area. Tickets are only $95 per person for a wonderful dinner and hilarious show, featuring all the best gags ever delivered by Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and of course Wallace Greenslade. We’re presenting 3 of the original BBC episodes, all artfully skewered between courses.
Then in June and July we return to Katoomba for the annual Yulefest Blue Mountains dinner and show. Presented at the wonderful Clarendon Guesthouse and Theatre, Yule-tide revellers will be treated to 3 sumptuous Christmas dinner courses, threaded with 3 laugh-a-minute original The Goon Show episodes. Last year was a sell-out, so this year we started selling tickets early. As a special offer, you can pick-up your Yulefest tickets for only $125 per person – however this deal is ONLY available until February 28th 2014 after which the normal price of $135 per person becomes effective.
Of course, quality events like these aren’t complete without great musical numbers such as Frank ‘Ol Blue Eyes Sinatra’s ‘I Did It May Way’, Bobby Darin’s ‘Mack the Knife’ and a plethora of other delightful tunes you sing along to. These are all delivered with a smile by our resident Mr. Smooth… David Watkins who has our audiences calling for more every night.
Tickets to both events are strictly limited.. so book early to avoid disappointment.
